Welcome back Nan

So my old blog dissapeared into cyberspace as I failed to log in the last three months. It was not as a result of trying. I simply was in the middle of a move to the windy city. No, not Chicago...Casper. Yup, the big "ghost town". It doesn't suck here, it blows. In fact, the wind has blown nearly every day since our arrival. I hate to say it but it was, indeed, necessary to cut my hair.

Welcome to my new and improved blog. Or combined blogs. Well, actually it may or may not be approved. That is to be determined by only you. The intention of the blog is, an attempt, to keep you all updated on the funny, chaotic and sometimes uneventfull events that I call my life. Since I live so far from basically any un-red-neck human life, I figure it is a good way to keep in touch. Please feel free to post comments at your leisure as long as they are nice to me. he he he.

More to come soon with pictures.

The Graduate

Steve finally graduated after 8 long and intensive weeks of studying, physical training, aggressive wrestling, testing and commuting back and forth to Douglas, WY. His GPA was 94% and he earned the Fit for Duty pin. I am quite proud of him, you can imagine.

He has already started work and has a two year commitment at the Natrona County Detention Center. Thereafter, he may apply for various positions within the Sheriff's Department including SRT, patrol, security, transport or investigation. His newly found career has may opportunities ahead.

Please stop a minute and tell him how proud of him you are as it is the encouragement that has given him the courage to facilitate a career change mid life and continue to be as successful as he is thus far.

We appreciate your support.
